In the street leading to the Square of the Vrbnik Statute is the chapel of St. Martin. The glagolitic inscription on the side wall tells us that the chapel was built by the priest Martin Vitezić in 1561. A glagolitic tablet on the façade was erected in memory of Dr. Vinko Vitezić, a representative of the Croatian people in the Viennese parliament, who restored the chapel and was buried in it in 1904.
