The summerhouse with its chapel (today a monastery) belonging to Krk's Frankopan family dates back to the 14^th century. In addition to the monastery, there is a campsite, whilst a number of secluded beaches surrounded by forests are an ideal oasis in the summer period. Local specialities and wines, homemade olive and lavender products are a recommendation for every visitor.
