The remains of the Romanesque church of St. George are located a few kilometres south of Punat, on the Mala Kras site. Similar to the Kanajt site (St. Peter's Church), this one was also built on the foundations of a late antique building, which was converted into a church in the 6th century. The present building, from the 12th or 13th centuries, is somewhat smaller, and the remains of tombs from the period of the first phase of the sacral building were found around the church.
