In a three-naved Romanesque Basilica dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, which was first mentioned in 1213 and found in the centre of the square, it would be interesting to take a look at the triptych on the old altar by master Jacobello del Fiore from the 15th century and the altarpiece from the same period. Some twenty fragments of pre-Romanesque ornaments from the end of 8th and the beginning of 9th century can also be seen within the church.
The bell tower on the square was built at the beginning of the 16th century by local masters (Pjero from Omišalj and Andrija from Kotor, close to Crikvenica) with the support of the entire community.
