In the middle of the 19th century, the new parish church of St. Apollinaris was built on the site where the Mother of God of Carmel chapel once stood. It inherited its function from the old parish church of the same name near the village of Turčić, of which only the bell tower remain. The main altar from the old church as well as the marble altar from the Mother of God of Carmel chapel that was found here were transferred to the new church.
