Salatić Castle near Vrh
Close to the town of Krk
West of Krk, below the village of Salatići, are the remains known by the people as "Salatići Castle". Although it is called a castle, it was most likely a country estate built in the 15th century by an unknown noble family. Ivy-covered walls stand as witnesses to days gone by when a noble family spent their holidays there.
