The fortress is located above the Ponikve Lake, north of the town of Krk. The walls of this fortress are several hundred metres long and 3 to 4 metres wide. There is no information on who built it or when. Archaeological finds from one of the mounds surrounding it can be found in the collection of the museum on Košljun.
